Gulf fuels trans-atlantic flights with Air Transat

In-line with the international scope of the Gulf brand, Gulf Aviation in the UK is doing its bit for international travel with a new contract to supply A1 Jet Fuel for Air Transat flights from Glasgow Airport.

Air Transat, a Montreal based company, founded in 1986 is regarded as Canada’s leading holiday travel airline. Annually it carries around 3 million passengers to nearly 60 destinations in 30 countries. Air Transat operates mainly in Canada and Europe as well as in the Caribbean, Mexico and the Mediterranean Basin. From May 2015 Gulf Aviation will be supplying aviation fuel for Air Transat flights from Glasgow Airport to Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

David Dykes, Supply, Logistics & Commercial Aviation Manager for Gulf Aviation, commented, “This latest partnership with Air Transat is a significant win for Gulf Aviation, extending our work at the UK’s regional airports further and enabling us to showcase the benefits of working with a specialist supplier such as Gulf Aviation.  More and more so, airlines are recognising and utilising our extensive experience of the aviation industry, which is supported by the largest network of Jet A1 supply sources in the UK.

At the heart of our proposition is safety and excellent customer service.  However, it’s our ambition to provide the best service to our customers that makes us stand out from our competitors. This contract with Air Transat shows our commitment to further extending our presence in the aviation industry, both in regional airports and beyond.
