The Awards are core to our values and genuinely designed to help the independent dealer survive and prosper and whilst there is intense competition and a very thorough selection process there is also very much a spirit of teamwork and best practice sharing, unique in the industry and perhaps in business ? There can be no doubt that our winners are torchbearers, in whatever category, and all have a chance to succeed in setting a benchmark for the industry.”
Winner of the Best Gulf Site, Stephen Smith, proprietor of Tanerdy Garage, said: “Everyone at Tanerdy Garage is thrilled. It’s a very special moment and recognition for a fantastic team of hard working people, all committed to provide the highest standards of service and ready to take any challenge in their stride. When we moved to Gulf after 80 years with Shell it was a big change, one that our staff and customers have embraced. With Gulf we are part of something fresh and looking to the future. Events like SuperStation give us further reassurance that we are part of a process that values us for what we do and that makes a big difference.”
The Gala Awards Dinner was sponsored by ID Maintenance, Certas Energy’s signage partner, implementing and maintaining the Gulf Brand. The company manufactures and installs totem price signs, canopy signage and associated branding.
