Turning a whim into a win with Oomph rewards
A couple from Craven Arms will be heading off on the trip of a lifetime to Reykjavik thanks to Gulf Oomph Rewards.
Plumber Adrian Dajavs is a regular customer at our Newington Garage Services, but he actually has his son-in-law to thank for this dream trip becoming a reality…
“I entered out of curiosity,” he said. “My son-in-law told me about the loyalty points scheme. He’d previously won a Ninja air fryer, so I thought I’d give it a go. I just kept putting points in now and then – I didn’t think I’d ever actually win.”
One big winner
Every month, we share the details of our latest Oomph Competition – giving our customers the chance to win everything from supercar driving experiences to AirPods. Customers can enter the competition using their Oomph Rewards points, which are collected every time they buy fuel or shop in-store at participating Gulf stations.
December’s prize was a 2-night trip to Reykjavik for two to see the Northern Lights, and Adrian was thrilled to be named the winner.
He and his wife Elaine are looking forward to exploring Reykjavik, the hot springs and catching a glimpse of the famous aurora borealis. “Seeing the Northern Lights is something I’ve always wanted to do,” he said.
A proud local Gulf site
Adrian is a regular at Newington Garage Services, the site where he struck lucky while taking part in Gulf Oomph Rewards competition.
Sue Phillips, who manages the site alongside her parents and brother, shared a few words:
