From The Valleys to Las Ramblas: Meet our Barcelona competition winner
A lucky local resident of Ebbw Vale will be taking a trip to Barcelona after winning a dream holiday with Oomph Rewards. Shirley Wedlock almost forgot she’d entered the competition, until the email came at the end of a busy day working as a healthcare project manager.
Soon, she’ll be jetting off to Barcelona with a lucky companion for a 4-night getaway. And it couldn’t have come at a better time for Shirley, who was feeling the festival blues after a attending a music festival in Aberbeeg over the summer.
Then, just like that, she had something very different to look forward to. “I couldn’t believe it,” said Shirley. “I’m absolutely over the moon.”
A regular at Gulf Ebbw Vale
Shirley is a regular at Gulf Ebbw Vale service station, where a member of staff first recommended the Gulf Oomph app a few years ago. Since then, she’s been building up her points to use on competition entries – and it’s really paid off.
